Hi, I'm Elisa

"Surreal glitch on a journey to somewhere"

As a stay-at-home mom, ever-evolving artist, world traveler, and Dogecoin enthusiast, my life has been rich with life-changing experiences.  I enjoy painting, cooking, gardening, and learning about everything in the universe.

I've always had a creative flair, but after using art to help me process my emotions throughout a tumultuous time in my life I decided to pursue my love of making art.  My preferred mediums for painting are acrylics, decoupage, and gouache.

A little more about me....

Growing up in a small town in Southern Idaho, I learned to appreciate the arid serenity of the desert.  With my parents working for the government, I spent my teenage years in Germany.  There I learned to appreciate the richness of living history surrounding me within the tiny cobblestone side streets.   I learned all about the German culture and language through my local friends.

While in high school I became enchanted with the thought of moving to Paris, France and living a Bohemian artist's lifestyle.  2 days after graduation, I hopped in a car with my French boyfriend; Paris bound!  It's there that I learned to appreciate art and culture along the banks of the Seine with the Tour Eiffel gracing the backdrop.

After a year galivanting in France, I moved back to the United States to start school at Kansas State University where I pursued a degree in elementary education.  In Kansas I learned to appreciate Americana, as it sprinkled through the daily fabric of life amongst the rolling prairies and Main Street USA.  I learned what it meant to be blue collar and the values they held.

Eventually I made my way to Austin, Texas where I learned to appreciate the fierce independent streak woven throughout every corner of this great state.  From the beautiful majesty of the hill country  to the grackle-filled parking lots of H-E-B, I draw inspiration from everything around me.
